Cardiff make several changes to the side that played Llanelli for tonight’s Principality Premiership clash with Pontypridd.
With Joe Griffin injured James Thomas steps in at outside half. Darren Ryan, another injury from the Llanelli game, is replaced by Richard Smith. Cory Allen returns from staring in Wales’ U20 campaign to partner him. Jamie Davies continues his run at full back,Garyn Lucas returns from injury to start at scrum half against his former club.
Up front the one consistant this season has been the front row, Aaron Fowler, Campase Ma’afu and Ryan Harford all starting again for the Blue & Blacks. Macauley Cook joins Matthew Screech in the second row and there is a return to the back row for Thomas Young.
