End of season dinner

Cardiff RFC celebrated 140 years of rugby in the Capitol City at the annual caps presentation dinner on Friday night.

Players from all eras joined the guest list on an evening that was hosted by BBC rugby’s Phil Steele. The event, which was held at the Principality Stadium, marked the end of the 140th season and began with the awards for those players who had played 20 games for Cardiff rugby during the season. Jordan Viggers

There were also presentations to the players who had reached 100 games for Cardiff Rugby during the season. This who received their blazers were

James Murphy

Jonathan Edwards

Tom Slater

And a new name was added to the Cardiff RFC Hall Of Fame. Former Captain, Chairman,  Committee man and Trustee Mervyn John joined a host of famous names as the latest inductee.
