As Cardiff's injury crisis deepened following yesterday's game at Cross Keys we look at the latest position.
Club captain Joe Tomlinson Is out for the season following his injury against Pontypridd last month. Dan Crimmins is also a long term injury and we won't see Dan this season either. His injury came at Merthyr on the same day as Gareth Thompson limped out for 4-6 weeks.
Last night Miles Normandale's ankle injury will keep him sidelined for 6-8 weeks, as will Tom Daley who also picked up a similar injury at the Keys. Other forward issues include James Greenfiled who had concussion against Newport.
That leaves the Blue & Blacks with some challenges for the coming weeks. We would also like to wish Dan Fish a good recovery. The fullback has played several time for Cardiff this season but an elbow injury will keep him out this season too.
On a positive note Cardiff RFC would like to congratulate those selected for the forthcoming Wales Under 20s campaign. Rhys Carre, Ben Thomas, Dafydd Smith and Joe Miles deservedly make the squad and we would like to wish them and Wales all the best in those games.
And we also congratulate Head Coach Steve Law in being honoured for his services to District A. Steve received his award from District Board member Bryan Parker following last nights game.
