Cardiff - Merthyr

By Viv Jones | 08/02/2018

Cardiff entertain Merthyr for the second time in as many weeks at the Arms Park tomorrow night (Friday 7:15)

Having lost in the second round of the cup the Blue & Blacks will be looking to get a win in what will be the fourth meeting between the two sides. In the league game here in September Cardiff came out on top. Head Coach Steve Law thinks this will be a tough assignment though "when we played them earlier in the season they hadn’t really got into their stride. The last few months have seen them produce the type of rugby we knew they were capable of playing. They showed that against us in the cup last time. That said we have trained well this week on the back of a good performance at the Brewery Field last week, we know this will be a real test against what is a quality side, but we are very much looking forward to it."

The Blue & Blacks are grateful to Bedlinog RFC for their co-operation with permit players for this match.
