Ebbw Vale - Cardiff

06/12/2018

Cardiff travel to Ebbw Vale to take on the Steelmen on Saturday looking to extend the winning run to ten in a row.

And with Ebbw also putting together a run of their own Head Coach Steve Law knows it will be a tough encounter “Ebbw Vale away is always a very tough place to go and with the weather not looking too friendly for Saturday we can expect nothing other than a hard fought game. We have made a few changes to the side that beat Swansea, and that includes putting Man Of The Match Morgan Allen on the bench. This helps keep the squad fresh and allows us to sue the strength in depth we have built this season.

Nine wins in a row is a great reward for our efforts and we are very pleased with where we are as a squad, but you are only as good as your last game and we be taking nothing for granted at Eugene Cross Park. We have to work hard for each other and play to our potential for the full eighty minutes if we are to get something out of this trip.”

The Blue & Blacks welcome back an old favourite of the supporters for the game. Tom James, who first appeared in Selkirk in 2008 for Cardiff returns from a long injury as he starts his road to recovery and his place back in the Cardiff Blues team.  This once again demonstrates the great links we have between the Region and CRFC
