The following players are currently classified as ‘long term’ injuries and will be unavailable for a number of weeks (or even months). Minor injury details (where a player has received a minor knock, for example, and is expected to recover quickly) will not be included.
The current long term injury situation sees the following players unavailable for selection
Peter Lloyd – has been receiving treatment for a leg injury for the last few months and is expected to return to action by the end of February.
Lloyd Pike – has had surgery on a broken jaw. It is anticipated that he will return to playing by 21st March.
Mathew Powell – is not expected to play this season, but should be fit by the time we play the first pre-season game for the 2020-21 season in August.
Alex Everett – suffered a fracture dislocated ankle in the Cup game against Llanelli. He has had surgery and should be fit for pre-season in August.
It should also be reported that in a non rugby incident Dyfri Owen (Head of the Medical Department) suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon that required surgery. Dyfri is not expected to miss any game time due to this injury.
