Cardiff RFC welcome Llandovery RFC to the Cardiff Arms Park on Saturday afternoon, with a spot in the Super Rygbi Cymru Final on the line (KO: 2:30 pm).
The Blue and Blacks come into the semi-final contest following scoring half a century of points against Carmarthen Quins, whilst the Drovers narrowly put aside Rygbi Gogledd Cymru 1404, 36-30 at Church Bank.
Saturday will see the pair clash for the third time this season, following Cardiff’s dominant 45-14 triumph at the end of March.
Against the Quins, Cardiff crossed the whitewash seven times, as Elijah Evans brilliantly claimed a brace, which was accompanied by Harri Wilde, who also scored twice and kicked 12 points from the tee.
Joining the two players who on Wednesday were announced in Cardiff Rugby’s Senior Academy for the 2026/27 season were Dewi Cross, Ethan Lloyd and Lucas de la Rua.
Replacement Lloyd Lucas, who is also a part of the Senior Academy squad next season, kicked three points from the tee to secure the Blue and Blacks a 50-33 triumph over the Carmarthen Park side.

Pre-Match Thoughts:
Speaking ahead of the encounter, head coach Dan Fish said: “It’s an exciting opportunity on Saturday.
“We welcome Llandovery to the Arms Park in what is going to be another physical and fast game like the two we have already played against each other this season.
“We know the threat Llandovery can pose to us, and we know what we need to do to put them under pressure.
“We have been excellent the last eight games of the season and are playing a great brand of rugby.
“We know we need to start fast Saturday and put our stamp on the game, we worked hard to finish the season like we did, which gives us the opportunity of playing at home in a semi-final.
“I’m sure it’s going to be a great game, and hopefully we can get a good crowd down the Arms Park to get behind the boys.”
Remember the last meeting at the Arms Park?
The last time Cardiff welcomed the Drovers to the Welsh capital was back in November when hooker Alun Rees celebrated his 100th appearance.
Rees did in fact score, as the Blue and Blacks recorded their first home win against Llandovery since October 2022. Accompanying the centurion were Osian Darwin-Lewis, Tom Harper, Steffan Emanuel, and Tom Williams, who all scored.
Lloyd Lucas brilliantly kicked 12 points from the tee as Cardiff recorded an impressive 37-28 victory.
