Cardiff RFC are delighted to confirm that the first episode of RagsCast 150 will be released on Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm.
Join host Carwyn Glyn as we follow a local boy’s journey from St Albans RFC to becoming a fan favourite at the Cardiff Arms Park.
Current head coach of the Blue and Blacks, Dan Fish, sits down to discuss his beloved playing days and his transition into coaching the club he loves, Cardiff.
Speaking in the inaugural episode, Fish said: “Every time I put the jersey on, I just wanted to do it proud, do it well.
“I had to walk through Cardiff that week, so you know it could easily go the way where it looked like you didn’t want to be there, and then you had to walk around, and people would question you.
“But, I just think when people do shoutout, it’s obviously good to hear, but they recognise that when I did put the jersey on it did actually mean something to me and I was trying my best for the team.”
Fish’s side kick off their sesquicentennial season away against Carmarthen Quins this Saturday (KO: 2:30 pm) at Carmarthen Park, and this comes after two victorious pre-season friendlies against St Albans RFC and Brixham RFC.
