Usk product Ethan Phillips played for Usk RFC and Cardiff University. In 2022-3 he made his Cardiff debut against Llanelli in February 2023 (as an early replacement for Joe Peard). He played 5 games for the Blue and Blacks during the season and made a permanent move to the Arms Park when he had finished University. Has also played for Crawshays Welsh XV.
