After back-to-back Friday evening matches, Cardiff RFC return to Super Rygbi Cymru (SRC) action as they face Rygbi Gogledd Cymru 1404 on Saturday afternoon at the Cardiff Arms Park.
The Blue and Blacks will be looking, for the second time this season, to return to winning ways after two defeats in a row. The hosts enter the contest against the Stadiwm CSM side on the back of a frustrating evening against Swansea RFC.
Alun Rees crossed the whitewash twice with Ethan Lloyd also scoring and Steff Crimp kicking six points from the tee, which proved insufficient as the Whites fought back to win 24-21.
The Gogs head to the Welsh capital, aiming for their third away win of the season, and come into the encounter off the back of a 38-26 loss against Ebbw Vale on November 15. That day was their last outing in the SRC.

Pre-Match Thoughts:
Speaking ahead of the match, Cardiff RFC head coach Dan Fish said: “Looking forward to getting back out on the field Saturday, disappointing result last week, and we want to put that right this week.
“We have reviewed the Swansea game and seen where we need to improve, ready for RGC.
“Always a fast-paced game against RGC, who like to play as we do, we need to make sure we front up and take the opportunities we are creating.
“We are creating so many opportunities but not finishing them, and it’s coming back to bite us.
“We have spoken about the game lasts 80 minutes, and it’s a 23-player game, so we’re going to need a big start, then also a massive impact off the bench.
“We need to make sure we are all on the same plan and then put in a performance we are proud of.”
Remember the last meeting at the Arms Park?
The last time the Blue and Blacks welcomed RGC to the Arms Park was back in February.
It was the pair’s second meeting, as seven days earlier Cardiff played this afternoon’s opponents in the (SRC) Cup.
The latest meeting saw Cardiff claim the spoils in what was an end-to-end game. Alun Rees, Lucas de la Rua, Ethan Lloyd, Jason Harries, and Joe Goodchild all scored as we ran out 34-26 victors.
