Steve Law will leave his position as head coach of Cardiff RFC at the end of the current season. Steve joined the club at the beginning of the 2018-19 season and has overseen the club’s most successful period of the semi-professional era. We wish him all the best for the future.
As you will have heard Cardiff RFC were successful in their bid to compete in the WRU Elite Domestic Competition next season at the second attempt becoming the 10th team in the new league.
Purpose of the EDC is “To provide high quality playing and club-based development opportunities for Performance Development phase (18-23) players in Wales in a competition environment that more closely replicates the demands and goals of professional rugby”.
On The Field
Cardiff RFC travelled to Llandovery on Saturday 4th May at Church Bank after finishing 4th in the Premiership League season and despite leading at half time came away with a 34-13 defeat. The boys can be proud of this season to finish 4th when you look at the age group of players playing for the Blue & Blacks.
