Cardiff are on the road again on Saturday as they travel to Bargoed in the Principality Premiership.
Following last weekend’s win at RGC in the cup Head Coach Steve Law was full of praise for his squad “it was a very good performance and a top result. The squad have grown as a group and last weekend we saw the best of them. They had composure under pressure and the processes the coaching staff had worked on were adhered to. The execution was very good. It was a mature accurate performance from a group that is still learning“
“This week will be a very different challenge. Bargoed are fighting hard to stay in this league and we know from previous games there that this will be a very hard game against a very very committed team. We will have to be mentally tough this weekend as well as show all the attributes we had last week”
There is also a new name on the team sheet this week. Following the loss of Rory Pitman to Doncaster, Luke Crocker to Australia and the unavailability of Miles Normandale Aled Cockwell has joined the Blue & Blacks from Neath RFC to add extra strength to the back row.
