The Blue and Blacks started the second half as they started the first with Joey Tomlinson crossing for his second of the afternoon after more excellent play from inside centre Arron Pinches.
After some brilliant handling skills from the Blue and Blacks backline, 25-year-old Joe Goodchild crossed for his second of the season. This try meant that Joe has now scored 60 points in a Blue and Black shirt.
Morgan Allen got his second of the afternoon after powering his way past The Wizards defence, and this score meant that he has now passed 160 points in a Blue and Black shirt.
After being on the sidelines for several weeks, Nathan Hudd came off the bench and scored his first try of the season and the Blue and Blacks seventh.
Frankie Jones was penalised after deliberately knocking the ball on and was awarded a yellow card minutes later.
This then kicked started an absolute nightmare for the visitors, as with Jones in the bin, Cardiff scored three tries in the space of six minutes.
Shaun O’Rourke came off the bench and scored his first of the season, then Dewi Cross dotted down in the corner for his sixth of the season.
Finally, replacement Jacob Lloyd crossed for the Blue and Blacks tenth of the afternoon.
However, the visitors went hunting for a losing bonus point and with the clock nearly in red, the man who got yellow carded, Frankie Jones crossed for the visitors third. With an unsuccessful quick drop goal attempt it meant Cardiff had to restart.
With the clock deep into overtime flanker Rhys Thomas secured a losing bonus point after a one sided affair at the Cardiff Arms Park.
