Cardiff entertain Newport in the Indigo Premiership at the Arms Park on Saturday (2:30)
Speaking ahead of the game Head Coach Steve Law said “we came through last week with a seven out of ten performance where we had to dig in and show some character. That means we still have things we want to improve on and we have been working hard on those this week. But we are in a good place and there is a lot of positivity around the squad at the moment. There are a few changes this week and the players who are not in the match day squad will also be playing with other clubs to maintain their match readiness for when we need them.
Newport are on a bit of a run at the moment after what was for them a poor start to the season. But there is no better game to be involved in that this. Arguably the best known club game in the world and definitely the biggest one in Wales. It is a game we are very much looking forward to and know that we will have to play to the best of our ability to get a result.
