Cardiff entertain Pontypridd in the Indigo Premiership at the Arms Park on Monday (14:30)
The traditional Boxing Day fixture was first played on that day in 1972 and has been a highly competitive game every time it is played.
Speaking ahead of this year’s game Head Coach Steve Law said “It’s a local derby that is full of tradition and getting bragging rights. This year will be no different. We played really well last weekend and got the reaction we wanted to our two previous performances. This week we will need to put in a performance that equals that. Ponty will come here
looking to play their game and stop us playing ours. I’m sure though it will be a game for the fans to enjoy”
