Cardiff RFC welcome Llandovery RFC to the Cardiff Arms Park this Saturday afternoon (KO: 2.30pm) for their next Super Rygbi Cymru outing.
The Blue and Blacks head into the match following a 31–3 victory over Pontypool last weekend, as part of a double-header.
In front of a healthy crowd, tries from Alun Rees, Tom Cottle, Joe Goodchild, Ben Fry, and Gavin Parry, along with six points from the tee by Lloyd Lucas, guided the hosts to back-to-back victories.
Looking to continue this winning momentum, Cardiff will be eager to take on table-toppers Llandovery, who come into the contest off the back of a 35–17 triumph over Bridgend Ravens.

Pre-Match Thoughts:
Speaking ahead of the match head coach, Dan Fish said: “Great win on the weekend, we asked the boys to be on it for 80 minutes, and they backed that up with a fantastic performance.
“Solid at set piece on our ball and lineout defence was excellent not allowing Ponty a foothold in the game. We knew we needed to front up physically against a big Pooler pack and we did that and more.
“Our defence was excellent not allowing them to get front foot ball and that was backed up with real good discipline making it hard for Ponty to implement their game on us.
“The pleasing thing for me was even though it was our best performance of the season, we still have things to build on, and we want to continue that this week against Llandovery.
“Cardiff vs Llandovery is always a good game of rugby, both teams who like to play quick and got game breakers all over the field.
“We know they will pose a different challenge to what Pontypool did last week, and we have to work hard on shutting their key players down.
“We want to make sure we put our game onto them and not wait to see what they have got planned for us.”
Remember the last meeting at the Cardiff Arms Park?
The Blue and Blacks last entertained Llandovery in a 91-point thriller back in April. Outside half Harri Wilde kicked 13 points from the tee, while Matty Young scored a brace in the opening 40 minutes.
Elsewhere, Steffan Emanuel, Jason Harries, and replacements Benji Williams and Joe Williams also crossed, but it proved not to be enough as the Drovers claimed the spoils 48-43.
Euros Evans’ side overcame a 14-0 deficit with tries from Joseff Powell, Jamie Hughes, Samuel Potter, Jac Davies, and both Osian Davies and Llien Morgan, who each crossed twice to secure the victory.
