Cardiff return to the Arms Park in the Indigo Group Premiership on Friday night when they entertain RGC1404 (7:15).
Following last week’s loss the Blue& Blacks will be looking to get back to winning ways against a North Wales outfit that they have already faced twice this season. Those two games were at Parc Eirias last year and RGC will be looking to gain revenge for the defeats in both.
Speaking ahead of the game Head Coach Steve Law said “we were disappointed with the defeat last weekend at Aberavon but on reflection it is no disgrace to come away from the Talbot Athletic Ground with a losing bonus point. We gave away two soft tries from poor play and generally contained everything the Wizards threw at us. We also created a couple of opportunities that has we finished them the result would have been different.
That result though puts pressure on us at the top of the league and this week we come up against the only side that has scored more points in the league than us. We know how RGC like to play and it will be as important what we do without the ball as well as with it. There are a number of changes to the side from last week due to various circumstances, but that creates opportunities for those who have been selected. Once again our performance will be vitally important if we are to come away with a result on Friday”
