Covid 19 Guidelines

Face Coverings: Face coverings are still a requirement in Wales for indoor events but not for outdoor. Although our events are predominantly outdoor events we will be encouraging spectators to wear masks especially when queuing for bars, catering and using toilets. This applies to everyone aged 11+, unless they are exempt (proof of exemption is required). Staff will be wearing face coverings.

Hand Sanitiser: You’ll find hand sanitising stations dotted throughout Cardiff Arms Park. We also suggest you carry a small hand sanitiser with you if possible in case the stations are not in a convenient location for you.

Social Distancing: We’ll still be asking everyone to always remain considerate of each other and to use common sense to space out queues for bars and toilets.

Gates: Gates open 1 hour before kick-off.  We ask that spectators arrive in plenty of time to purchase tickets and allow the above checks to be carried out. Please do not bring bags unless necessary. If you do bring a bag, it will be searched. Please see ground regs for list of prohibited items.

  • General spectators will need to enter via the Angel entrance.
  • Season ticket holders should enter via the Quay Street ramp.

On Arrival: Temperature checks will be carried out by St Johns and the NHS QR code for Track and Trace will be on display. Covid Pass’ are required in order to attend matches at Cardiff Arms Park. All attendees aged 18 and over will need to present either a digital or paper Covid pass as proof of their double vaccination or a negative Lateral Flow Test.

Tickets: Tickets will be on sale via the ticket office (Angel entrance) only.

Card payments: Contactless payments are encouraged at our ticket office, food stalls and bars.  Cash will be accepted if required.

Staff: All of our staff and volunteers will be wearing face coverings.  We hope spectators respect them for working under these conditions and for enforcing the rules outlined above.

Enhanced cleaning: To keep everyone safe, we’ll be cleaning before every game and regularly disinfecting Cardiff Arms Park high touch points including all our toilets, banisters and doors etc.

Pitch: Access to the red zone (pitch and changing room areas) are governed by stricter protocols that other areas off the ground.  Only players and officials are allowed onto the pitch via the tunnel prior and during the game.  Tag rugby teams and flag bearers must access and exit the pitch via the South East corner of the ground.  Accredited Press may enter the pitch following the game if wearing a face covering.
