Cardiff RFC travel to the newly named Electric Brewery Field on Saturday afternoon (KO: 14:30) as they face Bridgend Ravens to conclude 2025.
In the pair’s recent meeting at the Cardiff Arms Park only a matter of days ago, captain Craig Hudd made his 50th appearance for the club.
“It was great to make my 50th appearance for this incredible club and to be captain, and deliver a performance like the boys did really put the icing on the cake and made it a memorable day for myself,”said Hudd.
Cardiff will face Bridgend for the fifth time in 2025, with the head-to-head being in favour of the Blue and Blacks. This is four victories against a narrow 26-19 defeat in the Super Rygbi Cymru Cup.
But they make the short trip to the Ravens after recording an impressive 49-12 victory last weekend at the Arms Park.
Ben Fry scored twice in the first half alongside both Alun Rees and Ieuan Davies. Before second half crosses from Osian Darwin-Lewis, debutant Tom Howe, and Joe Williams saw the hosts comfortably record their first home triumph in nearly 50 days.
“We are looking forward to playing Bridgend again but we are under no illusion that this will be a different battle at their ground.
“It’s about trying to replicate our performance from last weekend and hopefully being on the right side of the result again,” said Hudd.
