Cardiff RFC will aim to record their fourth consecutive win of the 2026/27 Super Rygbi Cymru season as they travel to the CiNER Glass Community Stadium to face Ebbw Vale RFC.
The Blue and Blacks enter the contest against the Steelmen after an impressive 43-5 six-point bonus-point win over Pontypool RFC last Friday at Cardiff Arms Park.
In a dominant first-half display in the Welsh capital, loose-head Ioan Emanuel bagged a brace, while Tom Howe, Tom Harper, Gethyn Cannon, Ben Coomer, and Joe Goodchild also scored to lead by 38 points at the break.
Despite a try-less second half, the Blue and Blacks had plenty of positives, including youngster and Player of the Match Alfie Prygodzicz making his debut for the club.
For Jason Strange’s Ebbw Vale side, they head into Saturday’s contest like the Blue and Blacks, undefeated so far this season.
After back-to-back six-point bonus-point wins against Swansea RFC (40-12) and Aberavon (52-26), they narrowly beat Rygbi Gogledd Cymru 33-31 in their most recent outing to claim the spoils.
Following securing their biggest victory so far this season against Pooler, Cardiff will aim to keep the momentum going as their 150th season celebrations continue.

Pre-Match Thoughts:
Speaking ahead of the contest, head coach Dan Fish said: “This week it doesn’t come much tougher with a trip to Ebbw Vale.
“They have had a good start to the season and possess a lot of threats.
“We know what happened there last season and it still hurts now. Discipline has got to be good, and we need to match them physically from the start.
“If we can get that right and then are accurate when we have the ball, we know we can cause them big problems.
“It’s going to be a tough physical game, but one everyone in blue and black are looking forward to.”
Remember the last meeting at the CiNER Glass Community Stadium?
The last time Cardiff travelled to face Ebbw Vale was late last September when they suffered a brutal 60-20 defeat.
A hat-trick from replacement Ieuan Morris, along with scores from Ethan Phillips, Joe Franchi, Morgan Richards, Ewan Bowden, Sion Parry and a penalty try, also helped the Steelmen defend their Super Rygbi Cymru Challenger Shield that afternoon.
For the Blue and Blacks, Joe Goodchild scored twice, with eye-catching finishes in the corner. Former Cardiff player Gavin Parry scored, and outside-half Lloyd Lucas kicked five points from the tee.
Cardiff last secured a victory at the CiNER Glass Community Stadium in January 2024, when they claimed a 23-9 win.
That day, the Blue and Blacks broke Ebbw Vale’s home-winning record after a superb second-half performance, with Jamie Hill, Ethan Phillips and Dewi Cross all scoring as Cardiff claimed the spoils.
