Ebbw Vale – Cardiff Team News

Cardiff travel to Eugene Cross Park on Saturday to play table topping Ebbw Vale

The Steelmen have won both their games so far in the Indigo Premiership Cup with wins over Merthyr and Pontypridd.

“We know how tough an opposition Ebbw will be on Saturday, but it is a challenge we are looking forward to “said Head Coach Steve Law. “We need to have a reaction, not to the loss last week, but to the performance we put in. Loosing is OK but the performance wasn’t up to standard.

It is always tough at Ebbw Vale and the weather for Saturday doesn’t look as if it will allow flowing open rugby. We will need to play intelligent rugby and be mentally strong, but if we do that there is no reason why we can’t come away with something from the game”.
