Morgan Allen named Cardiff RFC Captain

Morgan Allen has been named as the Cardiff RFC Club Captain for the forthcoming 2019 / 2020 season.
Allen joined Cardiff RFC at the beginning of last season gaining his Club cap after playing 30 games last season. Morgan will be a popular choice as captain with the fans having scored 14 tries last season as well as being part of the National Cup winning side.
Speaking of his appointment Morgan said “it is a huge honour to be asked to captain Cardiff RFC. The club has a huge heritage and history and I am thrilled to be captain this season. I am looking forward to continuing the fantastic work of Joey Tomlinson, he will be a hard act to follow as well as a role model for me. Last season was a great season for the club and we have set the bar high again this year.”
“The squad has come together really well and there are some really exciting additions to what was already a great squad. We are really looking forward to pushing on again this season. I am very excited about leading the team out at the Arms Park – we can’t wait to get into competitive action.”
