James Loxton played 96 games for Cardiff between 2009 and 2016. After graduating through the age grades at Cardiff Blues and representing Wales at U16, U18 and U20 levels James signed for Cardiff Blues before moving to Connacht. His opportunities in Galway were limited resulting in a move back to the Arms Park with Cardiff. Over the next three seasons he played 72 games for the club before moving to the Championship with Glamorgan Wanderers.
