Pontypridd – Cardiff team news

Cardiff travel to Sardis Rd tomorrow looking to complete a rare double over Regional neighbours Pontypridd.

There is a welcome return from injury for James Beal and the side shows several changes to the one that lost at St Helens last week where the Blue & Blacks picked up several injuries including club captain Joey Tomlinson. Head Coach Steve Law said of that game “we had an opportunity to put real pressure on the Merthyr but Swansea’s efforts were greater than ours. Tomorrow night will be another major test of our ambition, and with Merthyr loosing on Wednesday we will have to match Pontypridd’s endeavours if we want to stay in the title race”
