RGC – Cardiff team news

Cardiff make the long journey North as they travel to Colwyn Bay in the latest round of the Indigo Premiership cup.

“This is the last game of the current six-week block before a week off” commented Head Coach Steve Law “and we are coming off the back of a narrow defeat last week against Merthyr. RGC is always a tough place to go and after a long bus journey it won’t be easy on the field.

But we have very trained well and have been critical of certain areas of our performance last week and looking to put them right this week. That aside there are lots of changes and we are focused on being connected on the field to ensure we have best opportunity to get continuity of play both in attack and defence. There is plenty of talent in this  squad going to RGC and with lots of changes that creates opportunity for players to stake a claim for a regular place week in week out, and we are confident that if we play to our potential, we are capable of getting a result”

Cardiff RFC would like thank Bedwas RFC  and Fairwater RFC  for the permit of players for this weekend’s game
