Cardiff travel to the Brewery Field to play Bridgend Ravens on Saturday in what will be the first of two games in six days.
With the Wels International kicking off later on Saturday the Indigo Premiership clash has been brought forward to a 13:00 kick off. The Ravens sit at the foot of the table with just one win so far this campaign, but the Blue & Blacks will know what a tough place the Brewery Field is to play at having narrowly won there on their last few visits.
Speaking ahead of the game Head Coach Steve Law said “we have been going well so far this season but Bridgend will be another tough game. We aren’t used to playing and training on a heavy field so we will have to manage those conditions.
This week has been hard for the coaching staff as far as selection is concerned with several players coming back from injury. Its great to see Wales Under 20s captain Alex Mann back on the field as well as Tom Habberfield and James Richards, both of whom bring a wealth of experience to our side. It gives us selection choices too and creates options for us giving us a competitive squad with no complacency.
We are looking forward to the Ravens challenge and know we will have to perform well to come away with anything.”
