St Albans 0 – Cardiff 66

St Albans gave Cardiff a great welcome in the first meeting between the two sides. A large crowd turned out in the sunshine to watch the action at Tremorfa Park

Cardiff ran in 10 tries in all, four in the first half. Rhodri Morgan opening the scoring with Ethan Phillips, Gruff John-Morris and captain Ethan Lloyd all touching down, Lloyd Lucas converting three for a 26-0 half time lead.

The second half saw 6 more tries. Phillips got his second, wing Dewi Cross added to the scores along with scores by Christian Brooke, Ioan Penry, Ioan Leyshon. Lucas added another 5 conversions to see the Blue & Blacks home 66-0.

After the game Chairman Chris Collins presented St Albans with a plaque to mark the first meeting with the home side presenting ties to Cardiff.
