Cardiff RFC take on Pontypool RFC tomorrow afternoon (KO: 16:25) at the Cardiff Arms Park as Dan Fish’s side will be aiming to record back-to-back wins in Super Rygbi Cymru.
The Blue and Blacks come into the encounter off the back of putting aside Aberavon last weekend 45-26, whereas for Pooler they recorded an impressive 43-10 victory against Bridgend Ravens at Pontypool Park.
“It was good to get back to winning ways against Aberavon after the last two matches,” began Moore.
“We need to keep the ball rolling now if we want to start pushing to get to the top of the table. We know it’s going to be a big physical game against them as it always is.
“They’ve got a lot of jackal threats and they are going to come after us there and we know we need to deal with that or it’s going to be a long afternoon.”
With the last meeting between the pair at the Cardiff Arms Park last November being on the same day as Cardiff Rugby’s match against Dragons RFC, tomorrow will see another huge double-header.
Following the Blue and Blacks’ encounter, Cardiff Rugby take on Edinburgh in round five of the United Rugby Championship (KO: 19:45).
Both Cardiff RFC and Cardiff Rugby are very grateful to Pontypool for allowing this opportunity for another double-header.
“It’s always a great occasion when we get to play in the double-headers as it brings in more supporters, and it’s always great playing infront of a bigger crowd and all the boys are looking forward to it,” Moore added.
