Cardiff entertain Aberavon on Friday night (19:15) looking to make it ten wins in a row in the Principality Premiership.
Following last weekend’s narrow victory over Llanelli and Merthyr’s slip at Swansea the Blue & Blacks now sit just one point off top spot. Head Coach, Steve Law, said of the game at Parc-Y-Scarlets “that was a very poor performance on Sunday. One that we need to put right if we are to have any hope of beating Aberavon tomorrow. Our execution just simply was not where we want and need it to be. Having said that Llanelli made it hard for us, but we managed to find a way to win.”
“Aberavon will be a completely different team to play. They have only lost 5 games this season and are on a decent winning run of their own. The game will have a massive bearing on where we are and where we go moving forward. Changes have been kept to minimum but we do welcome back Morgan Griffiths for his first game since the beginning of the season. He has been playing in the Premiership in recent weeks with Carmarthen.”
