Cardiff entertain Merthyr in the first of a double header against the Ironmen at the Arms Park (10th Sept 14:30)
This weekend it’s the turn of the league fixture before the cup fixture next week. Speaking ahead of the game Head Coach Steve Law said “we have made several positional changes and that gives all the squad an opportunity early in the season – that is as we planned at the start of the season.
Last weekend we were happy with the start we made at Sardis Rd given the pre-season preparation we have had, but there is plenty to work and build on. Merthyr have strengthened their squad with some real quality this season and they were very impressive against RGC last week. We know we will have to put in a performance to get a result but are very much looking forward to it”
