On a bright, sunny September afternoon, Cardiff rugby club held their annual golf day in the beautiful surroundings of Whitchurch Golf Club. Twenty teams entered the four-ball competition and at the end of the afternoon of great competition the prize winners were announced and presented with their prizes.
The team winners were the representatives of Welsh Premiership sponsors Indigo, in second place were Work Place Inspections with Sib Services 3rd. The individual winner was Andy of Indigo.
The longest drive (awarded on hole 6) was won by Craig Hackle and the nearest the pin prizes went to Darren Broad (120cm at hole 1), Andrew Beale (77cm at hole 7), Andrew Nicholson (105cm at hole 13) and Matt – of Workplace Inspections (680cm at hole 15).
