Cardiff RFC Welcomes Cardiff Sports Orthopaedics as Kit Sponsor

Cardiff RFC is delighted to announce a new partnership with Cardiff Sports Orthopaedics, who have come on board as a shirt sponsor.

This exciting two-year partnership strengthens ties between the Blue & Blacks and the leading orthopaedic medical group in the capital, which is led by former second-row Stuart Roy.

Cardiff RFC chair, Chris Collins, said: “I’m really pleased to share the news that we have forged a great business link with our friends from Cardiff Sports Orthopaedics.

“This has been led by Stuart Roy who is a Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital and a partner at Cardiff Sports Orthopaedics.

“Stuart obviously had a successful decade playing for the club and we are delighted to agree this new partnership.”

Roy made his debut for Cardiff in 1988 and enjoyed a decade at the club before enjoying time at Pontypridd and Newport. He was included in the Wales 1995 Rugby World Cup squad, where he won one cap.

The Cardiff Sports Orthopaedics will now have their logo proudly displayed on the back of the Rags’ famous Blue & Black jersey.

Dr Stuart Roy said: “It is a privilege and an honour to be able to support a club I represented over a few years and has given me so much personally over the years.”
