Cardiff – RGC team news

Cardiff entertain RGC at the Arms Park on Saturday in the first home game of the season.

Speaking ahead of the game Head Coach Steve Law said “ we were reasonably happy with a draw away at Ponty last Saturday given our preparations and this week we will be looking to improve our performance and our standards. There are a few changes, none of which are related to performance, but is giving members of the squad opportunities to shown us what they have.

The backline shows only one change with James Beal coming in, but on the bench we have two exciting young backs who will be eager to show their worth in Kodie Stone and Matty Young. In the forwards Joey Tomlinson makes a first start in nearly a year following his injury and Shaun O’Rourke moves from the bench to the starting lineup.

RGC had a week off last week so they will be fresh and ready to go, but we are looking forward to the challenge.”
