After a three week break the Blue & Blacks return to Indigo League action on Saturday when Swansea visit the Arms Park (Kick Off 2:30pm).
It will be a busy day at the Arms Park when, in addition to the on field action we will be fundraising for our chosen charity – Velindre Cancer Centre. Before the game there will be face-painting under the South Stand (outside the Jack Matthews Bar) and a bucket collection will be carried out by some of the Cardiff Schools U11 squad.
Whilst this is going on for supporters, the former players associations of Cardiff and Swansea will be having a lunch in the Gareth Edwards lounge.
Following the game (at around 5:30pm) there will be some player presentations.
- Cardiff Rugby Supporters Club will be presenting the Best Newcomer award for the 2018-19 season to Edd Howley
- also from the Supporters Club the Jim Trigg Clubman of the Year award will be presented to Ian Davies (reward for all the hard work behind the scenes on the website, multi-media and social network announcements)
- Presentation of Club Caps (for 20 appearances during the season) to Zach O’Driscoll, Kieran Martin, Mathew Powell and Edd Howley who were unable to attend the dinner at the end of last season when the presentations were made to the other winners.
- Presentation of club ties to players that have made 10 appearances for the club. (unlike the cap which has to be appearances within one season to the tie is 10 games regardless of how long a period to play all the required number of games)
There will also be entertainment by Boycezone, food in the downstairs bar and a raffle – with some great prizes.
