Cardiff return to Indigo Premiership action this weekend with a visit to Rodney Parade.
The Blue & Blacks will be looking to continue their current form which has seen them win all eight of their league matches this season. That won’t be an easy task against their oldest rivals and friends Newport.
The Black & Ambers are currently 8th in the table and would like nothing better than to end Cardiff’s winning run. Speaking ahead of the game Head Coach Steve Law said “there are several changes to the side this week, with a few players shifting positions and others being welcomed back from injury.
Newport are a very good side, results in the last few weeks haven’t fallen their way, but they have gained bonus points against tough opposition, eighth position in the table does not tell the full story of their season so far. We know our standards will have to be at their highest if we want to come away with anything from Rodney Parade”
