We are sad to have to report that former player Nick Williams passed away last Sunday at the age of 74.
Nick played for the Club on the wing, making 9 first team appearances between 1968 – 1971. He was a great 7’s player and represented the Club when they won 3 major sevens events in the 1968-69 season. These were
- The Harlequins Invitation Sevens/ Lord Wakefield Trophy
- The Snelling Sevens
- The Welsh National Sevens
As well as a wonderful Rugby Player, Nick was a very successful Businessman who was highly respected in the Business World.
A member of the Former Players Association, Nick will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
