Swansea born Richie Pugh played nine times for Cardiff in the 2007 - 08 season after playing for Swansea, London Welsh, Exeter, Llandovery, Llanelli, the Ospreys and the Scarlets. As well as playing one senior international for Wales (when he came on as a replacement in a tour match against USA in 2005, scoring a try) he gained  international honours for Wales at U19, U21 and for the Welsh 7s.
