Church Village born Scott Alan Andrews came through the Pontypridd Schools system and is a former pupil of Y Pant Comprehensive School. Having played for the Blues U20s he progressed to the senior Cardiff Blues side making his debut against Ulster in 2009. During his time with Cardiff Blues he also played for Glamorgan Wanderers, Pontypridd and made nine appearances for Cardiff. Having been capped by Wales at U16s, U18s and U20s, he captained the Wales U20s in 2009 in the Six nations and in the Junior World Cup, Making his full international debut for Wales as a second half replacement against the Barbarians in 2011. In the 2017 – 8 season Scott spent time with Bath helping the club out when they were suffering a shortage of experienced props.
In 2022 he joined the coaching team of Cardiff Academy and Cardiff RFC, also playing for the Rags if needed.
