Gordon Pritchard played eight games on the Wing for Cardiff in 1973 – 4 season before joining Newport.
After two seasons with the Black and Ambers he went to play Rugby League for Barrow, earning three Welsh Rugby League caps between 1978 and 1981. After his retirement from playing he later returned to South Wales to coach Caerphilly.
